When radio host Jerry Klein suggested that all Muslims in the United States should be identified with a crescent-shape tattoo or a distinctive arm band, the phone lines jammed instantly.

huh... I thought it was a gold star with six points, or a pink triangle...

oh, wait... wrong crime against humanity.

If you didn't read the link, the DJ was doing it as a trap to get a couple of jerks on the line--and then he got all depressed at the number of people who called in agreeing with him.

Perhaps we can tattoo a big L on those people's foreheads and hand out free castrations and hysterectomies for any idiot who needs one.

Aw, man, why do I gotta be a human shitstain to get sterilized for free? :(

Hey give me points for spelling hysterectomies correctly so early in the morning. I didn't even have coffee at that point. :)

A poll carried out by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), an advocacy group, found that for one in three Americans, the word Islam triggers negative connotations such as "war," "hatred" and "terrorist." The war in
Iraq has contributed to such perceptions.

i wonder if CAIR (which is an organization which seriously needs to be shut down and blocked at every opportunity) also asked how many of those people also had the same connotations for the word "christianity." i mean, i'd say that islam triggers those negative connotations, but just as much (if not more) for christianity.

not that i trust anything CAIR claims, though, so it may just be completely made up bullshit.
